Mr. Marokon Alilee (Chairman) is happy to announce the non-profit making organisation – Vanuatu Association of Accountants (VAA) has reformed and established a new committee.
Mr Marokon Alilee was one of the founding members of the Association when it first established in December 2003.
The core objectives of the Association remain the same, to promote the interests of Accountants in Vanuatu and the services provided by accountants within the local community. This will be achieved through education, training, technical support and advocacy. Members will work to represent the views and concerns of the profession to governments, regulators, industries, academia and the general public.
To enable aspiring and existing Accountants to be involved, the Association now has four (4) membership levels, based on your qualifications and experience:
Annual Fee
- Ordinary – Vt5,000
- Associate – Vt2,500
- Studen – Vt1,000
- Corporate – Vt20,000 (includes up to two (2) person memberships)
Four leading Vanuatu Accounting firms: iCOUNT, Barrett and Partners, Moores Rowland and AJC, have joined the Association.
If you have a formal qualification, and/or are working in the position of Accountant, the Chairman encourages participation of accountants in all levels of business, government and private firms as the profile of the Association is nurtured through 2020 and 2021 by the new committee.
